Gratitude for @artisttrust GAP grant in 2024 and n Gratitude for @artisttrust GAP grant in 2024 and now a @kc4culture Project Grant in 2025 for completing the feature doc @boysontheinside . Shout out also to @thegsba for their scholarship to Christina from BOI so she can fulfill her dream of going to barber school! There is support and love and hope for these stories in this world we live in. So much gratitude. ♥️✨🎬

Thrilled to be new faculty in the UW @commlead Mas Thrilled to be new faculty in the UW @commlead Masters program this spring teaching “Ethics in Storytelling.” So much to discuss in the complex ways to approach ethics and storytelling in media/marketing/communications leadership. (Hint - starting off with example schools of thought: Octavia Butler based ethics, Indian/Tibetan Buddhist ethics, and Plato ethics; + creative reflection exercises; all culminating in powerful final portfolio pieces. It’s going to be amazing!)

On Sat. Feb 13 learn about the queer/feminist form On Sat. Feb 13 learn about the queer/feminist former squat evicted by 1,500 police in Berlin in Oct 2020, during covid and a housing crisis. Liebigstrße 34 was around for 30 years, and @catalinaajalvarez and I, who lived there and performed together 15 years ago, are organizing this film screening and discussion to raise awareness of this event and larger implications (all event funds go to Liebig community).
