The Northwest Film Forum is a community film center in Seattle, focused on supporting and sustaining independent film. With youth and adult workshops, a public edit lab, cinema rentals, and film festivals.
Elliat has taught documentary and queer film classes at NWFF, as well as partnered on curation of a wide range of cultural events since 2016. Prior to this, Elliat was a volunteer and active filmmaker at the NW Film Forum’s former incarnation of The Little Theater, on 19th Avenue in Seattle in 2004.
Recently Elliat has taught several documentary film courses focused on producing/directing as well as curating a variety of screenings and cultural discussions with filmmakers, authors and community organizers.
