Project 42 by Molly Vaughen is captured here through video documentation of dance memorializing transwomen at the summer 2018 exhibition at Seattle Art Museum. Project 42  was launched in 2012, and like the concept of rebirth through dance, the number 42 is a symbolic number that represents the short life expectancy of transgender individuals in the USA.
